Poing! 1.0 COLOR This is an Arcade Game Mactivity's CD-ROM nr 10 advice: This application did run on a color 68030 processor under System 7.1. It was also tested on a big ColorScreen of a PowerMacintosh running System 7.1.2. The game was also tested on a Quadra with 68040 processor and a 13 inch Color Screen and System 7.1 by Mactivity. Attention: This application runs only on COLOR monitors. Poing! is a fast-action, colorful, and noisy arcade game. It's probably a little different from anything you've seen before. The goal in each level is to hit targets with the ball. You'll be given one target at a time. If you hit it, it will vanish and a new one will appear somewhere else, until you either hit all the targets for that level, or you run out of time. If you run out of time, the game is over. You control the ball by placing bumpers in its path. When the ball hits a bumper, it bounces off at a 90 degree angle. There are two kinds of bumpers - ones that lean right, like a slash /, and ones that lean left, like a backslash \. To place a bumper, press the slash or backslash keys on your keyboard. Have fun!
