Empire Master Demo 2.8.5 This is a Strategy Game Mactivity's CD-ROM nr 10 advice: This application did run on a b/w 68030 processor under System 7.1. It was also tested on a big ColorScreen of a PowerMacintosh running System 7.1.2. The game was also tested on a Quadra with 68040 processor and a 13 inch Color Screen and System 7.1 by Mactivity. This is the latest Empire Master(TM) demo application. Empire Master is a challenging conquer-the-world strategy wargame. You start with a single city and use it to produce armies to go out and conquer more cities so you can produce more armies and ships and planes until you capture the entire world. The only problem (there is always a problem) is that the machine is also building armies and conquering cities and fully intends to capture the world for itself. To get started as quickly as possible, just double click on Empire Master and select New from the file menu to start a game. Build an army and drag it around with the mouse, then build a fighter so you can explore faster (but don't let it run out of fuel.) Double click on any city to change the production. When you have an entire island build a transport and move several armies onto it so you can carry them to the next island. When you have five or ten cities start building carriers, submarines, bombers and icbms in preparation for encountering the enemy. Empire Master is highly addictive and should be avoided at all costs. The demo version will not let you save a game part way through and restricts some options, but you can play through to the end. If you find yourself losing too much sleep trying to finish a game without being able to save it and start again in the morning, then buying the full unrestricted version offers some relief.
