Price List for Content Management System
Price list (corporate) valid from July 1st, 2006
All prices are annual prices per domain name and without V.A.T. unless otherwise shown.
To complement your web site (cf. domain hosting price list), you should use a content management system (CMS). This makes it easy even for non-technical staff to quickly update the web site in a familiar interface similar to a word processing application. We offer a CMS that provides flexibility, speed and ease-of-use. The licence for this system will be linked to your web site.
It's a modular and extensible CMS program. This allows you to save money by just getting the modules you really require for your web site. Please see below for the one-time licence fees.
The software is available in German and English and we'll provide you with a manual in English or German (other languages are being developed). If you've got more questions before you order this software package then please don't hesitate to contact us. We'd be more than happy to discuss your requirements and will advice you which modules to get to achieve your goals.
Please find below a short overview about the different modules. It will become very clear that this modular and powerful system is much more affordable than other content management systems.

Why buy a CMS package?
“The right information at the right time”
A web site is a crucial link between a company and its customers. By providing the right information at the right time, a web site can be the most effective way to inform, market, and sell. However, many web sites are updated behind schedule, have inconsistent information architectures, or have pages that contain obsolete or erroneous information.
A content management system (CMS) helps solve these problems.
The web site management challenge
“The right talent and the right tasks”
A web site is a difficult combination of new technologies, graphic design, content creation, information architecture, and user interface design. The challenges associated with managing a web site are also organizational. IT is responsible for managing the servers and applications, and multiple groups have responsibility for web site content: marketing, sales, support, human resources, customer service, engineering, documentation, training and more.
A content management system automates and simplifies the flow of content from these diverse groups into a web site, and it leaves the web team in complete control over look and feel, information architecture, workflow capabilities, and delegated permissions. Thus a CMS can help to ensure that the right talent works on the right tasks when it comes to web site management.
Do you need a CMS?
Here are a few questions that can help you determine if you need a content management system:
- Does it take more than a few hours for a job posting, press release, news story, product page, support note, or other time-sensitive document to be posted to your web site?
- Do all web site changes grind to a halt if anyone in your organization goes on vacation or is sick?
- Does any one group in your company always get top priority for content changes, delaying web site changes for other groups?
- Are groups within your company disenchanted with the web site because it does not serve their needs within their time frames?
- Does it take weeks or months to make a simple global change to the web site, such as adding a new navigational element on every page?
- Is your site larger than few hundred pages, or does it need to be updated more than a few times a week?
- Is the information architecture of your web site slowly decaying, with broken links or broken images found throughout the site?
- Does it take a protracted amount of time to redesign your web site?
- Are content creators and contributors located at multiple locations?
- Are you are about to launch a new web site or redesign an existing one?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, you may need a content management system.
